As a Senior Account Executive, your primary mission is to drive new ARR growth by winning new customers in the UK and/or Benelux regions. This is a senior 'hunter' role with a strong emphasis on outbound sales execution, competitive deal-making, and disciplined pipeline management.You will be responsible for building your own outbound pipeline, closing opportunities generated through SDR outbound activity, and converting inbound leads from marketing and partners into new customers. You will own the customer journey from first meeting through contract signature, managing complex stakeholder environments and competitive sales cycles.New Business & Pipeline Generation
- Proactively build and manage your own outbound pipeline in the regions.
- Execute targeted outbound activities (email, calls, LinkedIn, account-based outreach)
- Close qualified opportunities generated by:
- Your own outbound efforts
- SDR outbound activity
- Marketing and partner-sourced inbound leads
- Consistently achieve and exceed new ARR targets and quota
- Lead and run product demos tailored to customer use cases and regulatory needs
- Own the full sales cycle from discovery to negotiation and contract close
- Manage complex buying groups including Marketing, Legal, Procurement, IT, and Management
- Navigate and respond to complex RFIs, security questionnaires, and tenders
- Position Usercentrics competitively and win deals against direct competitors
- Work closely with:
- SDRs to define target accounts, messaging, and outbound strategies
- Marketing & Product Marketing on Benelux-specific campaigns, ICPs, and messaging
- Customer Success to ensure smooth handovers and long-term customer value
- Provide structured feedback from the market to improve product positioning and go-to-market execution
- Follow a clear, structured sales process and maintain accurate pipeline data
- Use CRM tools consistently to track:
- Activities
- Opportunities
- Forecasts
- Commit to predictable execution, strong forecasting accuracy, and pipeline hygiene.
- Proven experience as an Account Executive / New Business Sales in a SaaS and/or B2B software environment (3-5 years)
- Strong outbound sales and hunting mindset
- Demonstrated success in winning new logos and closing competitive deals
- Experience managing mid-market to enterprise sales cycles
- Comfortable working with complex decision-making units and procurement processes
- Experience with RFIs, tenders, and structured buying processes is a strong plus
- Native/Fluent English is ideal.
- Dutch language skills are highly desirable.
- Based in or willing to relocate to Prague, Czechia (hybrid working model available)
