Job DescriptionOur Business Service Centers (BSC), located across three regions (Americas, Europe, and Asia), are responsible for the timely and efficient delivery of standardized, global financial processes. The BSC – Europe in Prague, Czech Republic will be responsible for the execution and delivery of a broad range of financial services and processes across our business divisions and markets for the Europe region.The AtR General Ledger Specialist will be accountable and responsible for ensuring that the transactions of all the markets that the BSC support in Prague have been properly accounted for and accurately reflect our company’s accounting process. The objective of this role is to work closely with Local Finance Teams to ensure that the accounting records: accurately reflect the results of the associated business process, are in line with US GAAP and comply with respective local statutory and tax requirements.Position ResponsibilitiesPrimary responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:Provide general ledger support and analysis inclusive of period end financial close responsibilities for EuropeProvide support across General Ledger and other AtR sub-process activitiesMaintain an accurate and current accounting ledger which reflects the country's transactional reality through timely posting of all required itemsEnsure that all transactions are correctly reflected in the ledger on a country basisEnsure accurate and timely period reporting that complies with Corporate and country requirementsResponsible for monthly Account Reconciliation processes on a timely basis and adhering to all corporate standards and guidelinesActively identify opportunities for streamlining and rendering service delivery more efficiently, and participating in special projectsWork closely with other team members to effectively manage workload and gain exposure to multiple finance and business disciplines within our companyReview and sign off the final financial package and the Balance Sheet ReconciliationsEducation & ExperienceBachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or FinanceMinimum of 2 years of experience in a finance or accounting department of a multinational company including demonstratedBusiness-level English language skills (speaking and writing)Experience using SAP and JDE desiredExperience with local GAAP / IFRS desiredExperience with US GAAP desiredExperience with balance sheet reconciliationsTechnical Skills RequirementsAbility to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high-volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timelinessWhat we offer:Exciting work in a great team, global projects, international environmentOpportunity to learn and grow professionally within the company globallyHybrid working model, flexible role patternPension and health insurance contributionsInternal reward system plus referral program5 weeks annual leave, 5 sick days, 15 days of certified sick leave paid above statutory requirements annually, 40 paid hours annually for volunteering activities, 12 weeks of parental contributionCafeteria for tax free benefits according to your choice (meal vouchers, sport, culture, health, travel, etc.), Multisport CardVodafone, Raiffeisen Bank, Foodora, and other discount programsUp-to-date laptop and iPhoneParking in the garage for drivers or showers for bikersCompetitive salary, incentive pay, and many moreRequired Skills: Analytical Problem Solving, Balance Sheet Account Reconciliations, Balance Sheets, Financial Accounting Controls, Financial Operations, Financial Reports, General Ledger Administration, Internal Financial Reporting, Interpersonal Relationships, Process StreamliningPreferred Skills:Current Employees applyCurrent Contingent Workers applySearch Firm Representatives Please Read Carefully
