Whilst the role is advertised as full-time, we can offer flexible working arrangements for this role, such as hybrid working, adjusted working hours, and other alternative working patterns.Maersk is seeking an Area LCL, FCL & CRM Business Development Manager to strengthen the commercial performance of our LCL, FCL and CRM (Insurance) product portfolio across Central South Europe. You will support sales teams, enhance product awareness, and build a strong business pipeline to drive growth and customer success.Key ResponsibilitiesSales Enablement & Product Awareness
- Deliver product training for LCL, FCL, CRM (Insurance) and related solutions.
- Promote product value propositions to improve customer understanding and commercial impact.
- Guide sales teams across relevant verticals to support product growth and volume targets.
- Increase pipeline quantity and quality for assigned products across the Area.
- Identify conversion gaps and partner with internal stakeholders to close them.
- Coordinate product and sales activities to achieve commercial results.
- Improve win‑ratio, retention‑ratio and conversion‑ratio through structured pipeline actions.
- Analyse lost opportunities and drive initiatives to enhance competitiveness.
- Support onboarding of new customers and act as first escalation point when needed.
- Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain products (LCL, FCL, Insurance).
- Commercial mindset with strong analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience in sales, business development or product management in logistics or freight forwarding.
- Fluent English; local language is required (one among Czech, Hungarian, Slovak according to the country). Any additional language of the countries this job is posted is to be considered a plus.
