- Strategic Representation: Ensure Operations is a key stakeholder from the design phase of projects, influencing decisions and outcomes.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with IT, Product, and other business units to co-create solutions that are operationally sound and future-ready.
- Departmental Alignment: Work closely with Heads of Departments and Head of Sections across Operations to capture and integrate their requirements into transformation efforts.
- Team Leadership: Lead and inspire a team of senior professionals, including project managers, migration managers, and business analysts.
- Capability Building: Develop new competencies within the team, with a focus on business functional analysis to support transformation design.
- Change Leadership: Guide the section through organizational change, helping team members adapt to new roles and responsibilities.
- Process Design & Optimization: Drive the design of future-state operational processes that support strategic goals and improve efficiency.
- Governance & Reporting: Provide regular updates to the Head of Operations Transformation, ensuring transparency and alignment with broader transformation objectives.
- Proven experience in leading transformation initiatives within Operations or related functions.
- Strong background in project and change management.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop senior teams through change, including across multiple locations.
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
- Experience working in cross-functional environments, ideally within financial services or a similarly complex industry.
