Our platform connects technology resellers and service providers to the best IT, Comms and Cloud products and services so they can create brilliant technology solutions for UK businesses.The purpose of the Senior QA Engineer is to uphold the quality of our software and customer experience through identifying and preventing defects from being introduced and ultimately that our software is fit for purposeWhat you'll be doingEvaluate user story requirements for testabilityDriving the QA domain from very early stages, improving and adopting new processes, tools and techniquesMentoring other QA EngineersParticipating in team ceremonies, including planning, refinement, estimation, and daily stand-ups.Producing comprehensive test cases, regression packs. Manual and where possible automated testsEnsuring acceptance criteria are met through testing, either directly or via other stakeholders, UAT teams, user groups, beta testersPerforming exploratory testing to establish any defects or bugs from unexpected use casesRecording defects found in a clear and constructive way with documented steps to reproduceUnderstand our products, services and offerings and understand how they are important to our customersCommunicating clearly to mixed audiencesSkills and ExperienceExperience of analysing business requirements and translating them into concrete, repeatable test casesHands-on experience with Database Testing using SQL, and API testing using tools such as Postman, Insomnia or similarBasic knowledge of GitExperience of writing, testing, and validating acceptance criteriaExperience of producing and maintaining test documentation and other test artefactsExperience of working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders in agile teamsExperience of producing and building automated test cases in a .NET environmentExperience of testing back-end systems, APIs and querying relational databasesExperience of ecommerce or telecoms solutions and SaaS platforms in a technology first organisationExperience of using Azure DevOps or Jira to manage product backlog items, defects, and test casesWhat's in it for you?Hybrid workingThe chance to work in a cutting edge technical environment, adopting latest AI code generation activitiesInvestment in your future career with a variety of learning and development opportunities.No dress code - embrace the freedom to bring your whole self to work.25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays.
