- Manage effectively a team distributed across several locations.
- Hire, mentor and motivate people to achieve productivity and engagement. Evaluate employees performance.
- Ensure the day-to-day activities are executed in a timely manner, according to the highest standards, ensuring high service delivery levels and customer satisfaction.
- Drive the continuous improvement of service delivery quality through efficient processes and procedures, report on operational performance and suggest improvements.
- Drive innovation and transformation of the systems virtualization infrastructure.
- Oversee the implementation of technology solutions.
- Lead new initiatives and projects. Define and control tasks, deliverables and timelines, with the ability to estimate effort and to determine the optimal staffing assignments.
- Oversee expenses and budgeting to help the organization optimize costs and benefits.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, local and international laws and regulations, participate to internal and external audit exercises.
- University degree or similar in an IT related discipline.
- Relevant professional experience is a required, preferably five years or more.
- Prior work experience as a team lead is a strong advantage.
- Deep understanding and operating experience of VMware vSphere. Knowledge of other VMware products inside the VMware Cloud Foundation portfolio is a plus.
- Knowledge of other virtualization technologies such as Nutanix is a plus.
- Very good understanding of information security concepts and tools.
- Extremely curious about modern technology and cloud.
- Highly organized, strong communication capabilities.
- High commitment to quality. High self-responsibility and ownership.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English. French or German language skills would be considered an asset.
