- Challenge KBC's current payments organization, processes and architecture using best practices from the global market.
- Build and deepen expertise in new payment rails such as Stablecoin, Finality, Digital Euro, and explore the use of agentic AI in payments, including risk mitigation strategies.
- Drive automation of payment controls using both rule-based and model-based anomaly detection.
- Provide expert guidance on implementing controls and regulatory requirements across the KBC Group.
- Support strategic initiatives that help maintain KBC's leading market position in payments.
- Work closely with international domain experts and influence senior stakeholders with clear, structured, and data-driven recommendations.
- Master's degree.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in Payments within the financial sector.
- Strong business acumen and passion for Payments, innovation and market trends.
- Knowledge of DLT and agentic AI is a strong plus.
- Solid technological understanding with hands-on experience as an end user.
- Deep knowledge of payment process risks, risk detection frameworks and preventive methods.
- Familiarity with Payments legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication skills-able to simplify complex topics for various audiences.
- Confident in influencing senior management and presenting ideas with clarity.
- High energy, excellent networking abilities and a collaborative mindset.
- Strong command of English.
