- Identifying and actively driving forward initiatives to reduce costs and increase efficiency at a global, regional and cross-location level.
- Developing and implementing the purchasing strategy for the assigned categories (Machines and MRO) in close collaboration with the Global Category Director, functional departments and the relevant locations.
- Conducting and finalizing extensive and complex global contract negotiations.
- Active support in the implementation of sustainability and compliance initiatives.
- Several years of professional experience in strategic sourcing and especially in Machines and MRO, and in purchasing.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience in managing suppliers and their contracts.
- Ability to communicate effectively across different organizational units and build consensus.
- Ability to work in a team, assertiveness and strong communication skills.
- Confident in written and spoken English.
- Willingness to travel occasionally.
