Shape the Future of HR Operations Across EMEA with PPGAre you an Operational Excellence practitioner who thrives on turning complexity into clarity? Do you excel at leading tough conversations, challenging legacy thinking, and translating operational pain points into scalable, automated solutions?PPG is seeking a mid-level Operational Excellence Lead to drive high‑impact HR process transformations across EMEA. In this role, you’ll partner with Regional HR, Shared Services, and IT to redesign processes end‑to‑end, accelerate automation, and elevate the HR experience for thousands of employees.What You’ll DoFacilitate with Authority

Lead complex, cross-functional process discovery workshops. Create the psychological safety needed for teams to surface hidden workarounds—while maintaining clear direction, structure, and control of the discussion.

Diagnose and Challenge the Waste

Differentiate “historical habits” from true regulatory constraints. Use Lean Six Sigma methodologies to challenge assumptions, validate compliance requirements, and identify steps suitable for automation vs. genuine legal exceptions.

Design End-to-End Process Excellence

Build and maintain detailed Makigami/Value Stream Maps. Integrate real system performance data (e.g., ServiceNow SLAs, rework rates) to quantify inefficiencies and highlight the cost of unstructured data and manual effort.

Act as the Translator (Digital Transformation)

Convert waste analysis into actionable Agile user stories and IT requirements. Partner with HRIS and IT to embed automation that eliminates manual interventions and removes the need for HR agents to act as a “Human API.”

Drive Stakeholder Alignment & Change

Cultivate strong relationships with HR Business Partners, Country HR, and Legal (HRBS). Influence stakeholders to adopt standardized global processes and reduce reliance on local, manual workarounds.

What We’re Looking ForExperience

3–5 years 3–5 years leading Lean Six Sigma or Continuous Improvement initiatives, ideally within HR Shared Services, GBS environments, or multi-country operational settings.

Operational Excellence Toolkit

Solid understanding of CI concepts (Lean Six Sigma Green Belt strongly preferred). Skilled in Value Stream Mapping, Root Cause Analysis, and turning data insights into executive-ready narratives.

Workshop & Facilitation Excellence

Proven ability to lead workshops, manage resistance, navigate politically sensitive discussions, and influence senior stakeholders without formal authority.

Technical & Analytical Skills

Strong analytical capabilities (Excel, Power BI). Advanced process mapping expertise using Visio, Miro, or Lucidchart.

Mindset
