Develop and implement code for products, services, or features, ensuring it meets quality standards. Mentor team members in best practices for producing maintainable and extensible code. Create and execute comprehensive testing plans to assure the quality of solutions, integrating customer feedback to enhance user experience and ensure scalability and reliability. Identify and manage dependencies during the design and development phases, coordinating with other teams and technologies to optimize performance and security. Act as a first responder for system issues, developing playbooks and processes to resolve incidents efficiently and maintain system health within service level objectives. Collect, analyze, and integrate data to inform engineering decisions, driving product refinement and ensuring solutions meet performance expectations. Identify potential risks in projects and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery and minimize disruptions. Hire, coach, and develop top engineering talent, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field and demonstrated experience in software engineering, computer science, or related technical discipline with proven experience maintaining and delivering production software coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Go, Ruby, Rust, or Python? 5+ year(s) direct people management or leadership experience Experience with designing a data strategy and leading the development of its core components by building and optimizing scalable data pipelines, integrations, and robust data models that solve complex business challenges. Experience working closely with product management, design, and other engineering teams to drive cross-functional projects and deliver high-quality products Experience in one or more scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, or a similar language) Experience with cloud environments and/or Cloud Native Compute Foundation (CNCF) concepts Experience working with both relational (e.g. mysql) and most importantly non-relational datastores (e.g. Cosmos) as well as operating Cosmos DB clusters at scale Experience working with Azure resourcing such as Azure Storage (blob and table particularly), Azure Redis Cache, Azure Data Explorer Clusters.
