Our client is an exciting start-up right at the center of this fast evolving industry. e-sport can be defined as a form of mind sports where the primary aspects of the sport are facilitated by video games; the input of players and teams as well as the output of the eSports system are mediated by human-computer interfaces. Most commonly eSports take the form of organized multiplayer video game competitions, particularly between professional players.We are looking for experienced Java/Scala Developer who will help us with improving feeds which we use to collect data from whole world (game API, image recognition with FFMeg and OpenCV). Those data are used in mathematical algorithms which calculates probabilities of game results in real time. Our software works on AWS cloud and we does care about increasing speed (Apache Kafka). Besides that we are collecting data from tournaments (PostgreSQL, MongoDB) so our mathematic team can use them to develop and calibrate models.You wil become a member of small agile Java/Scala team with flexible working hours and home office. There are morning stand-ups waiting for you where you can discuss ongoing sprints. You will sometimes do code review but on the other hand you will even get precious feedback on your code from colleagues.Requirements:
at least 5 years of experience with Java
analytical and mathematic mind
experience with distributed systems and microservices
knowledge of PostgreSQL and MongoDB
experience with Git and Linux
experience with writting unit and integrated tests
experience with Scala is an advantage
