- Creating documentation for WES products;
- Providing relevant comparisons of WCS/WES concepts with similar operational environments supported by WES solutions;
- Working with Software Project Management by participating in project planning activities throughout the lifetime of the project;
- Assisting Software Quality Assurance and Development teams with clarification of requirements;
- Creating advanced test cases for WES solutions;
- Developing test plans to verify logic of new or modified programs;
- Providing valuable input to R&D and WCS/WES roadmap initiatives identified from Client engagements and feedback;
- Providing input to clarify development sprint requirements and feedback to development sprint output as requirements subject matter expert;
- Maintaining high quality project and software design documentation and analysis;
- Leading lessons learned documentation post project go live;
- Traveling to client sites for testing and project implementation;
- Running onsite test plans to verify logic of new or modified programs;
- Ensuring that any software systems being integrated meets functional requirements, system compliance, and interface specifications;
- Working closely with the Software team to develop software platforms/applications based on Client's needs;
- Identify and implement process improvements;
- Guide and train newer software commissioning engineers.

- Bachelor's degree in in engineering, information technology, or related field;
- Relevant experience within supply chain, distribution, warehouse management systems, and warehouse control systems technologies. AutoStore experience is highly desired;
- Professional experience in Material Handling Systems and/or Warehouse Control Systems (WCS);
- Advanced knowledge of network hardware, protocols, and standards, including TCP/IP, FTP, and SOA;
- Advanced knowledge of database design and file management techniques;
- Excellent written and verbal communication, including technical writing skills;
- Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) experience;
- Advanced project management skills and/or substantial exposure to project-based work structures, project lifecycle models, etc.;
- Ability to travel nationally and internationally in the range of 50%-70% of the time.
