- Your main focus areas will cover:
- Analysis and implementation of existing and upcoming external national and international sustainability disclosure requirements such as CSRD/ESRS, EU Taxonomy, ISSB, SEC etc.
- Support the readiness of SAP's external reporting processes for the upcoming changes in sustainability reporting.
- Preparation of internal contributors and stakeholders for the new regulations.
- Support the coordination and orchestration of yearly and quarterly sustainability disclosures and ensure timely and correct delivery of these disclosures.
- Support the coordination with SAP's auditor for sustainability disclosures.
- Support the implementation of SAP sustainability solutions @SAP.
- Required 1-2 years of professional experience in corporate accounting (e.g., providing accounting guidance, overseeing preparation and review of financial statements) - experience in Big 4 audit firm is a plus.
- University degree in Business Administration, preferably with a focus in accounting/auditing and other similar education (PhD is a plus).
- Basic knowledge of sustainability reporting regulations such as CSRD/ESRS, SASB, TCFD, ISSB.
- Good English level. Any other language will be of value.
- Technical affinity/interest, agile and digital mindset.
- Skills to identify risk, propose solutions, be innovative and proactive in a dynamic environment, as well as a resilient and strong team player in a virtual and international team.
- Standards & Regulations: ultimately responsibility for SAP's corporate external reporting and its compliance with regulatory requirements (according to CSRD/ESRS, EU Taxonomy, ISSB and SEC standards) including engagement with SAP's auditor.
- Support Strategic Technology: engaging with SAP IT as well as Product Development to drive digital transformation at CFR in the area of sustainability.
