Job Purpose:Highly certified architect with deep cross-vendor domain knowledge, able to work externally with partners, vendors and end customers to develop complex and bespoke technology solutionsResponsibilities:Helps define appropriate multi-technology solutions to meet customer needs by engaging with end users and resellersConsulting with resellers to create technical designs and solutions according to customer requirementsDelivering architected solutions on customer sites to a high standardResponsible for project management of internal and external (vendor and partner) resources in delivering complex, multi vendor technical solutions to end usersSome support of internal and external sales teams to deliver technical quotes in line with defined service level agreements (SLA’s)Develop and manage customer relationships with appropriate contacts.Co-own and project manage the technical elements of sales opportunities to successful closureConduct customer site visits (reseller and end user)Deliver sales and technical enablement training internally to TD SYNNEX sales teams or externally to the reseller base (not a core competency)Respond to queries or customer care issues in a timely mannerCommunicate product and technology information to the relevant audienceDeal with daily product/solution enquiries from internal/external sales and resellers (not a core competency)Utilise the Business Solution Centre (BSC) to support sales activity and improve partner utilisation ratesMaintain technical accreditation and develop wider industry knowledge to a highly competent level (applicable to all technical roles)Knowledge Skills and ExperienceWorking knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and VisioCompass and Business Warehouse is desirablePrevious experience of E-business systems.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Strong attention to detail, priority management and planning skills.IT industry knowledge – Channel, Vendors, Competition and End User.Existing wide knowledge of product and technology portfolios as relevant to the business unitKey SkillsAt TD SYNNEX, our values guide everything we do: Together, We Own It, We Dare to Go, We Grow and Win, and above all, We Do the Right Thing.
