OverviewQA Specialist plays an important part in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products by conducting thorough testing throughout the development lifecycle. The role requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and ability to deliver software that meets or exceeds customer expectations.
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, validate fixes, and maintain shared project understanding.
  • Design, maintain and document test plans, test cases, and test results; record and track defects with actionable details.
  • Execute manual and automated testing (functional, security, regression) and maintain automated test scripts.
  • Integrate and run automated test suites within the CI pipeline; ensure continuous verification of builds.
  • Conduct performance and load testing, analyze results, and work with the team to optimize scalability and reliability.
  • Participate in root-cause analysis, verify bug fixes, and contribute to improvements in testing processes and methodologies.
  • Communicate test status, risks, and quality metrics clearly to project stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a QA Specialist or in a similar role.
  • Familiarity with software testing methodologies and best practices.
  • Experience with manual and automated testing tools.
  • Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and issue tracking tools.
  • ISTQB or similar certification is an advantage.
  • Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
