As a Senior Data Governance Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality of metadata management, cataloguing, and data governance of our data across all domains, directly influencing patients who use our life-saving products.   • Set up and maintain the Collibra Data Governance Centre (DGC) environment, including community and domain structure, views, diagrams, and dashboards.
  • Implement metamodel changes through releases and facilitate ingestions from required source systems.
  • Engage in tool maintenance and cleaning activities to ensure a positive user experience.
  • Train and support Metadata Stewards and other divisional stakeholders.
  • Provide ad-hoc demos to stakeholders to enhance understanding and usage of data governance tools.
  • Create and maintain Collibra DGC and data governance-related documentation, best practices, and training materials.
  • Conduct impact analyses for integrated systems and ensure compliance with cataloguing and best practices.
  • Analyze new connector implementation requirements.
  • Inform about new DGC Collibra functionalities and updates.
  • Design and develop workflows to help stewards and users with their cataloguing journey.
  • Manage business and technical metadata in Collibra to ensure accuracy, consistency, and accessibility.
  • Design, implement, and manage metamodel to enhance metadata quality and standardization.
  • Develop and maintain standards for data metadata quality metrics and monitor performance.
  • Collect and analyze divisional and Chief Data and Analytics Office (CDAO) requirements for effective data governance and cataloguing application.
  • Communicate with divisional and CDAO stakeholders to ensure alignment of data governance standards and cataloguing while focusing on user experience.
  • Provide an implementation framework for cataloguing and data governance requirements and assign appropriate roles.
QualificationsRequired
  • Proficiency in using Collibra Data Catalog for data governance activities. Knowledge of any data catalogue is a must-have (i.e. Collibra, Ataccama, Dawiso, Informatica, Alation etc.)
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a data governance role.
  • Expertise in Metadata management and implementing metadata cataloging processes.
  • Proven experience in supporting the design and implementation of data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including conducting training sessions and demos to senior management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Applications, mainly Excel.
  • Fluent in English both spoken and written.
  • Team spirit and cooperative nature.
Nice to have
  • Experience in developing and maintaining governance standards.
  • Understanding of reference and master data management and governance.
  • Advanced degree in a related field.
  • Collibra Ranger Certification.
  • Experience in Agile using JIRA.
  • Experience in a research-intensive biopharmaceutical company.
  • Knowledge of Groovy, SQL, HTML.
