OverviewIDC is looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Senior GL Accountant with a strong understanding of local/US GAAP and financial reporting standards. Dedicated to maintaining accurate general ledger accounts, reconciling financial statements, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.We are building a new team, where your contributions will truly make an impact.Responsibilities
Maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts accurately.
Preparing and analyzing financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
Assisting in month-end and year-end closing processes.
Conducting variance analysis to identify trends and discrepancies.
Ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
Assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Performing account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
Supporting external and internal audits by providing documentation and explanations.
Staying updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations.
Communicating effectively with team members and management.
Supporting and leading subordinate GL Accountants.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience within the GL department.
Big4 experience will be a plus
Excellent communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office tools, especially MS Excel.
Experience with MS D365 will be a plus.
Advanced English level B2/C1.
Other European languages will be a strong advantage.
Experience in process transitions
