GIS System Administrator

• Operationally support and maintain the Esri ArcGIS Enterprise environments including Esri Portal, Datastore, and ArcGIS Server.
• Support the currently deployed Esri product suite and all future releases of the Esri product lines.
• Upgrade the ArcGIS Enterprise systems to applicable or latest versions.
• Complete ArcGIS software patching for systems on a manual and automated cycle.
• Manage Active Directory (AD) objects (users, groups, and assigned licenses) for authentication and authorization to GIS applications, files, folders, and Esri Enterprise Geodatabases.
• Support the organization with any needs regarding ArcGIS software requirements and troubleshoot GIS software issues to ensure full functionality.
• Provide initial support, targeting a higher level of first contact resolution.
• Work with various departments to integrate data from other systems of record to support customer requirements and advance GIS initiatives.
• Ensure all data is secured and only accessible as appropriate, in compliance with company's policies and privacy laws.
• Document server configurations, enterprise architecture settings, and GIS database connections/accounts.
• Understand and apply the ArcGIS Products Life Cycle.
• Provide technical insight and recommendations to determine GIS policies, objectives, and for potential GIS software purchases
• Perform other related duties as assigned

• Have passion for hardware and performance
• Used Esri software in previous experience
• Have faced Azure or AWS on daily basis
• Know a lot about scripting, in PowerShell, JavaScript, or Python
• Understand different container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and web servers
• Have working administration history with Linux and Windows
