This person will join our k0rdent core team and will be designing, deploying and testing product cloud infrastructure on top of open-source components.Responsibilities.Deploy, test, and evaluate Mirantis k0rdent and other K8S-related productsResearch, develop, implement CI/CD tooling to ensure Mirantis products workability and performance.Participate in designing and developing of the tools for deploying K8S environmentsMake recommendations based on obtained test results for both Mirantis development teams and the open source communityParticipate in requirement, design, planning, and retrospective meetingsParticipate in planning, estimation and prioritization of a product featuresWork with the geographically distributed team in a dynamic Agile environmentHelp with customer issues resolutionsQualificationsThorough understanding and experience with Docker and KubernetesDevOps engineering experience, understanding of CI/CD core aspectsAt least 3 years of practical experience in Linux (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu) as a server platform. Deep understanding of OS, ability to debug and tune an underperforming system, as well as troubleshoot hardware issuesExperience with versioning control systems, such as GitFamiliarity with code-review systems, like Gerrit or GerritHubDirect experience with public clouds such as AWS / Azure / GCPBachelor degree in CS or related fieldGood communication skills, can-do attitude, and focus on resultsUpper-intermediate spoken and written EnglishWill be a plusGolang experienceExperience with Kubernetes cluster management tooling (Rancher, Gardener, Tanzu)Experience with open source developmentExperience with instrumenting and utilizing monitoring tools for determining health status of a system (Prometheus, Grafana, etc.)OpenStack, VMware ecosystems knowledgeExperience with high load systemsAdditional InformationWhy you’ll love Mirantis
