Job DescriptionJoin us and help shape the future of play—one quality brick at a time.As a Supplier Quality Manager, you’ll be a key player in ensuring our suppliers deliver the high standards needed to create joyful, safe, and inspiring play experiences. From auditing processes to strengthening supplier capabilities, your work helps turn imagination into reality—brick by brick.This is more than a quality role; it’s about building lasting partnerships, driving innovation, and championing excellence—so every child gets the magic they deserve!Core ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will lead Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) within the R&D Packing and Packaging (P&P) department, focusing on CAPEX packing equipment (e.g., box formers, closers, bag makers, scales, robotics). You will also define the Supplier Quality Handbook to establish clear guidelines and standards.More over, you will:
  • Assess and audit new suppliers based on development involvement and capabilities, defining the right sourcing approach and strengthening their QA processes as needed.
  • Support suppliers in reaching qualification for serial mass production, ensuring consistent machinery output.
  • Manage quality assurance for subcontracting, incoming inspections, equipment assembly, production documentation, visual standards, error handling, preparatory workflows, and operational enhancements.
  • Gather, analyze, monitor, measure, and report on supplier performance data.
  • Actively manage claims with suppliers and establish corrective actions to effectively address quality issues and underperformance. Conduct supplier audits.
This position is located in our Kladno manufacturing site and there is no relocation assistance offered for this role.Play your part in our team succeedingThe purpose of the Research & Development, Packing and Packaging (R&D P&P) organization is to support and execute the Engineering & Workplace (E&W) business plan by ensuring that all new products are assembled and packed into optimal packaging efficiently on standardized equipment platforms. The R&D P&P team, located in Billund, DK, and Kladno, CZ, is responsible for packing platforms (equipment), packaging platforms (materials and constructions), product master data, and global industrial engineering. This foundation is essential for the global production of LEGO products.Do you have what it takes?
  • Proven work experience in a global environment, with daily communication in foreign languages and experience dealing with diverse cultures across time zones.
  • Proven knowledge of a Quality Management System (ISO 9001 preferred).
  • Demonstrated change-management skills with a track record of successfully implementing improvements.
  • Technical background (Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Packaging Technology)
  • Outstanding communication and coordination abilities, coupled with an open personality to foster collaboration and drive improvements.
  • Proficiency in English, Czech is an advantage
  • Ability and willingness to travel abroad as needed to support supplier audits and quality assurance processes.
What would be an advantage:
  • Experience in collaboration with an international supplier portfolio.
  • Experience in technical development projects, particularly related to packaging or manufacturing.
  • Experience in auditing processes to ensure compliance and quality standards.
