Your role The ACCOUNTING SUPERVISOR coordinates accounting team and ensures that accounting processes and related internal controls are performed efficiently and on timely basis with aim to keep it in line with the valid legislation. He / she is responsible for the correct and on-time preparation and execution of the monthly and annual closings, maintains up to date accounting methodology. He / she cooperates with auditor on annual audit of statutory financial statements.What you'll be doingJob duties:

Ensures compliance of the company’s accounting in the Czech Rep. and Slovakia, with the local accounting standards and maintains accounting policies according those standards
Helps to maintain efficient accounting processes and assists with re-design of accounting team/work
Supervises and supports accounting team and related processes/solves technical accounting issues
Coordinates internal controls in compliance with SOX rules
Is responsible for preparation of annual financial statements (under CZ/SK accounting standards) and local consolidation
Handles the reports to the Statistical office
Cooperates with other colleagues/departments, auditors (external/internal) and state authorities
Controls and authorizes outgoing payments
Cooperates with the IT support provider for accounting SW (FEIS) and invoicing SW (GFN)

Requirements and qualification:

We look for an accounting enthusiast with passion for solving accounting issues and good knowledge and experience in Czech and Slovak accounting regulations
Knowledge of tax legislation and basic knowledge of other relevant legislation, which have impact on the accounting is expected
Basic knowledge and experience with US GAAP
Skills with re-design and improvement of processes are welcome
Relevant experience in similar position of 5 years at least (audit/accounting/controlling), overall experience in finance of 10 years
Active English is needed
Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook etc.), experience with accounting systems
Good team player with team coordination skills able to work under pressure
