- The primary responsibility is to monitor, analyse the key financial information by tracking, reporting, and analysing the financials with budget variances
- Participate in regular cross-functional meetings and support senior leaders in the managing and growing the business.
- Translating financial periodic close into business-relevant insights to guide decisions of management.
- Data-driven decision-making support, actionable insights to improve profitability and efficiency
- Preparing and analysing budgets and forecasts
- Support development of KPIs, dashboards and Power BI management reporting.
- Analyse and reconcile Job Cost related Balance Sheet items (including disbursement),
- Actively attend Balance Sheet reconciliations and help resolve issues.
- Provide actionable, forward-looking insights to operational and business teams.
- Other projects as assigned
- Excellent analytical thinking with the ability to interpret complex financial data and translate it into clear business-relevant insights.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging confidently with senior leaders, operations, SSC teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Ability to work well and create relationships with senior management
- Data Storytelling & Visualization - use IT techniques to present insights visually, focus on narrative behind the data to drive action
- Ability to communicate complex financial data in a clear, compelling way to non-finance stakeholders
- Proactive, solution-oriented mindset, able to identify issues, propose corrective actions and support continuous improvement of financial processes.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail, especially in reconciliation work, budgeting processes and variance analysis.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment, prioritising effectively to meet strict month-end, forecast and reporting deadlines.
- Confident, can-do attitude, taking ownership of results, driving problem resolution and ensuring clarity in communication with finance and business teams.
- Integrity and confidentiality, consistently exercising tact, discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive financial information.
- Strong collaboration skills, building trust through active participation in cross-functional meetings and regular interactions with operational teams.
- Strong financial analysis capability, including variance analysis, financial close processes, forecasting, budgeting and management reporting.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, including P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, journal entries, job costing, disbursements, fixed assets and basic taxation considerations (aligned with business needs stated in internal communication).
- Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivots, queries, modelling), with ability to build bespoke analysis tools and spreadsheets to support ad-hoc decision-making needs.
- Experience with KPI development, dashboard creation and data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI) to support data-driven decision making.
- Ability to convert financial close outcomes into actionable insights that improve profitability, efficiency and business planning.
- Strong written and verbal presentation skills, capable of delivering clear, concise insights and recommendations to management.
- High level of organisation, with ability to maintain documentation, internal controls, and audit-ready financial support files.
- Cultural awareness and sensitivity, working effectively across countries and diverse teams (consistent with Crown's global environment).
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Business or related discipline
- 3+ years of experience in financial relevant professional experience
- Experience working with multi-entity or regional finance structures (SSC interaction, cross-country collaboration) strongly preferred.
- Fluency in English; additional European languages are an advantage.
- Excel and reporting tool certifications (e.g., Power BI) are an advantage.
