We are leader on our businesses, and recognized as one of the largest global innovative companies.We are looking for a MECHATRONIC PROJECT MANAGER in the area of active safety and autonomous driving.YOUR CHALLENGES?Manage operationally and functionally the Projects he/she is assigned toIs responsible for the achievement of the Project KPI in terms of profitability (both product/development vs Development Activity Payback and Extended Margin), Quality and Production PreparationSecure Project resources and control themDrive the Associated P2 Actors in case of P2 not completed in P1Solve all project issues requiring any type of support of all suitable functions via the Project EscalationCheck and validate Project Team Members’ activities and proposes timing scenario to achieve milestonesManage communication with Customers on Project development progressKeep client(s) updated on Project progress.Prepare/validate reports on Project development progress to PSC and PMC and to all Governance stages when requiredManage customer relationship (local and central) and coordinate communication within his team but also with P2/P1 projects associatedEnsure management of Escalation if anyCould conduct concept competitions to obtain customer orders (prefer: on case by case...)Define and manage his/her budget including the budget of Projects part of his/her Project/SystemDefine scope of projectsPrepare decision making process for relevant committee and challenge his project team readinessManage all project changes (internal and customer) and coordinates through his teamIs applying Design to Cost methodologyEscalate at the right level and with relevant speed/anticipation the gaps versus targetsResponsibility for communication with production plants and preparing good starting conditions for future mass productionEstablish detailed break down of the activities to meet the milestonesLET'S TALK ABOUT YOU...Master degree in a technical area.Technical thinking, experience with hardware.Experience in R&D projects as a project team member/project manager.Min. 3 years experience in the automotive environment is an advantageExcellent English for daily communication, German is a plusDriving license and willingness to travel to customer meetings in Europe and production site in RakovníkBe a team player, assertive, open-minded, decision making personality, leadership skills.WE OFFERWork in a stable international company in a multinational teamWork with cutting-edge technologies in AutomotivePossibility to see the whole development process in one place - from an idea (customer requirement) to a product (e.g. automated parking ECU)6 weeks of vacation per yearFlexible working hours and home office possibilityVariable remuneration - monthly and semester bonuses depending on team and company resultContribution to the pension insurance after the probation period, 5% from the gross salaryMeal contribution and free time vouchers on Flexi Pass cardPossibility of Multisport cardFitness room and external sports ground (football, basketball, volleyball) on siteMobility support for commuting, accommodation and moving services if you live over 20km awayCompany canteen offering a selection of international cuisineEasy access to work by Prague metro line A, car parking for all employeesPersonal development program through technical trainings and language coursesRegular company team building eventsOutdoor relax zone with a barbecue space for team buildingJob: P1 Project ManagerOrganization: ProgramSchedule: Full timeEmployee Status: RegularJob Type: Main Employment (standard value)Job Posting Date: 2026-04-08Join Us !
