Bring in your RAN system engineering experience, designing and testing the ORAN technology and make it ready for commercial deployment.What you will do
  • Design and test the future mobile access network that are cloudified and virtualized on a ORAN Cloud solution.
  • Install and administrate the RAN system and applications.
  • Create low level designs including RAN-SW configurations and test the latest RAN functionalities in Deutsche Telekom's laboratory.
  • Perform acceptance testing during development and integration (e.g. 4G and 5G Radio Recource Management features).
  • Analyse detected failures and initiate problem solving.
  • Communicate and co-ordinate the resolution with external partners and suppliers.
  • Define the test cases for RAN system acceptance.
  • Steering internal and external ORAN partners for failure resolution and further development.
  • Work in a fully international environment, developing the newest and latest network technology.
  • Perfom live network optimization support.
Required knowledge and skills
  • Familiar and interested in Mobile Access Networks and willingness to develop further.
  • Able to analyse log files of radio protocols.
  • Basic knowledge of Cloud solutions.
  • Understand the Radio Network design and testing.
  • Cooperative team player.
  • Willing to travel mainly within Europe.
  • Capable to handle above mentioned tasks in English.
