Location: Stenovice, Czech RepublicOverview of Role:We are seeking an experienced and professional Maintenance Manager to lead and further develop our maintenance function at the Pilsen plant. This role is central to ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and safety of our diverse machine fleet from multiple suppliers, while also overseeing building and facility maintenance. The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for building a strong maintenance team, implementing effective structures and processes, and driving a high professional standard across all maintenance operations.What you will do:
- Lead, develop, and coach the maintenance team, ensuring a high-performance culture with clear roles, responsibilities, and career development.
- Implement and manage a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to ensure robust planning, tracking, and reporting of all maintenance activities.
- Develop and execute a structured preventive and predictive maintenance program across a wide range of equipment (laser, inkjet, digital, silkscreen, and other decoration technologies).
- Oversee facility and building maintenance, ensuring the site remains safe, compliant, and in excellent working condition.
- Define and track KPI's for maintenance (e.g., equipment uptime, MTTR, PM compliance) to measure performance and drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams at other National Pen sites globally to align best practices, share knowledge, and leverage group-wide initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvement in equipment reliability, downtime reduction, and spare parts management.
- Partner with production, engineering, and quality teams to align maintenance priorities with operational needs.
- Ensure compliance with all EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) regulations and promote a strong safety culture within the maintenance team.
- Manage maintenance budgets, CapEx projects, and cost control initiatives.
- Serve as the key contact for equipment suppliers, contractors, and service providers.
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action initiatives to resolve recurring technical issues.
- Support strategic projects, including equipment installations, layout changes, and expansion initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field (master's preferred).
- Proven experience in a maintenance leadership role in a high-volume manufacturing environment; experience in the promotional products, printing, or related industries a strong advantage.
- Demonstrated expertise in CMMS implementation and usage, maintenance planning, and structured maintenance management.
- Experience managing both production equipment and facility/building maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of diverse equipment types, ideally including digital printing, laser, and inkjet technologies.
- Solid understanding of automation, process equipment, and industrial utilities.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a hands-on approach.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills.
- Fluent in Czech and proficient in English (both written and spoken).
