Assistant General Manager

• lead a skilled team of individuals with responsibility for design, quality, technical services, engineering, manufacturing and logistical operations of the IAC Plant Přeštice 1
• developing manufacturing and operational strategic plans and generally overseeing their implementation to ensure maximum capacity utilisation of the manufacturing plant in order to achieve IAC's strategy, growth and profit objectives
• responsible for formulating policies, programs, and objectives affecting the schedule, quality, and cost of manufactured products
• directing and co-coordinating production according to quality and quantity specifications within cost objectives
• oversee planning and implementation of production plans including requisition for procurement of raw materials; and manufacturing of products
• corrective and preventive actions to achieve targets
• ensuring all divisions within the manufacturing area are properly staffed and coordinated to perform duties effectively
• ensuring compliance to all company systems, guidelines & policies
• capacity analysis to ensure customer requirements
• providing strong leadership to the employees, ensuring high morale, teamwork and good employee relations, at all levels, including on the shop floor

• mechanical engineering degree or equivalent education
• 10+ years of experience in the automotive manufacturing industry
• 5+ years of supervisory or management experience
• strong management and leadership skills
• reliable and trustworthy person
• excellent organization skills
• fluent Czech and English (German is advantage)
• exposure to automotive quality practices incl. Lean Six Sigma
• knowledge of standards IATF 16949, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
