- Have a solid understanding of how biometric systems work in general and understand the dynamics of biometric algorithms development
- Own your set of features for a biometric modality, actively manage your backlog, and ensure work is clearly defined, prioritized, and progressing.
- Independently manage priorities, ensure alignment across teams, and identify gaps in feature specifications to drive execution forward.
- Server as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders being able to discuss and explain different aspects of our biometric solutions. You will make sure development and research time is spent on the right tasks which align with our business goals

- Good grasp of Jira and backlog management – You’re comfortable creating and maintaining Epics, writing clear and actionable user stories, managing priorities, and keeping sprints on track. You ensure tasks are well-defined, regularly updated, and accurately reflect real progress, helping the team stay aligned and efficient.
- Strong communication skills – Experience working with cross-functional teams and the ability to clearly express complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Technical understanding – Solid grasp of mathematics, statistics, and probability; familiarity with AI, biometrics, or computer vision is a plus. Ability to understand programming concepts and work closely with software engineers.
- Collaborative mindset – Proven experience working in agile teams, supporting iterative development, and building strong relationships with researchers, developers, and stakeholders.
- Product and problem focus – Ability to connect user needs, research insights, and business goals into a clear product direction. Experience in defining priorities and managing uncertainty in a research or innovation setting.
- Execution & coordination – Ability to organize work across teams, ensure clear ownership, and drive tasks to completion. You follow through and make sure nothing falls through the cracks.
