As part of Carrier’s Digital transformation, the incumbent will be part of ERP CoE. The position will be responsible for supporting SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) development practice within the SAP ERP CoE.

The incumbent will focus on the design, development, documentation of integration flows (iFlows) as well as overall integration efforts between SAP and non-SAP systems.

This role will report to the Sr. Manager SAP Technology.

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related business discipline(s).
5-8 years of experience within the information technology and/or increasing responsibilities within a related or relevant area of business.
Minimum of 3 years of proven, hands-on experience in SAP CPI development, and integration projects.
Experience with SAP S/4HANA integration and cloud-based solutions preferred.
Good understanding of Scrum, Lean, XP, Kanban and other agile techniques.
Experience in demand planning for large portfolio of technical projects.
Good understanding of IT Service Management; ITIL certification preferred.
Demonstrated expertise in SAP CPI development and integration patterns.
Knowledge of SAP BTP services, security concepts (OAuth, SAML), and connectivity adapters (IDoc, RFC, SOAP, REST).
Demonstrated knowledge of DevOps in the context of SAP.
Experience with SAP S/4HANA integration preferred.

Experience with SAP PI/PO/XI is a plus.
Scrum Master certified preferred.
Demonstrated/safeguarding Ethics and integrity.
Customer facing skills, ideally gained in a consultancy role.

Demonstrated “agile-development” mindset with strong customer-focus & results-orientation.
Strong desire to continue to grow skillset and work across the full technology stack.

Responsibilities

Deliver and implement integration flows in SAP CPI, including coding, configuration, mapping, error handling, and monitoring.

Deliver integration solutions for SAP S/4HANA with external systems using SOAP, REST, OData, IDoc, RFC.

Produces technical documentation for all integration development activities.

Control quality of deliverables in line with SAP Technical Guidelines and BTP Guidelines and partner with delivery teams to ensure long term sustainability of integration development activities.

Provides level of effort estimates for proposed technical solutions and articulates the benefits and risks to a solution’s feasibility and functionality.

Follow SAP and BTP related technology trends, identify opportunities for Carrier and cooperate on updates of Carrier SAP/BTP Technical Guidelines.

Works as part of a scrum team and engages in all scrum ceremonies (release planning, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, demos, retrospectives, etc.).

Provide digital and technical advice and consultancy to clients in an effective manner.

Perform any other activities requested by your supervisor that are in line with the incumbent`s competencies and experience.
