Our Customer Journey team focuses on customer oriented microservices embedded into the platform, providing end to end delivery from idea to implementation. This agile development team consist of 10 team members, closely cooperating with similarly-set sister team, as well as with the support team.As a Backend Developer, you will be an important part of the development and deployment of the backend components of the microservice.Ready to embark on the journey? Here’s what we are looking for:
  • Experience as a Software Developer or similar role
  • Knowledge of Java with Spring framework (SpringBoot)
  • Experience in designing and developing backend platforms and APIs
  • Understanding of cloud computing concepts, preferably with Microsoft Azure cloud platform
  • Knowledge of implementation patterns and phased roll-outs
  • Understanding of system monitoring configuration
  • Familiarity with build and release pipelines in various tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions
  • Ability to work in a team environment

Great TeamHello, my name is Lukas and I am the manager of this newly formed team. I joined DHL IT Services in 2021 as project manager for development of Express Mobile application. After the successful delivery in 2022, I moved onto the Customer Journey project in an operations and collaboration-oriented role of a service owner, and last year I have added the role of team lead for the development team. This role and working at DHL is providing me with the right balance of support and challenges, which I have been able to transform into opportunities to develop my knowledge, skills and career, as well as to meet people from various backgrounds and thus broaden my view of the world.
