Company: MarshDescription:We are seeking a talented individual to join our HR team at Marsh Risk. This role will be based in Prague, Czech Republic. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.This position blends practical HR execution with providing guidance, working closely with our regional HR Centers of Expertise in a dynamic, international environment. The main part of the role focuses on HR generalist duties; however, it also requires a more consultative approach and HR partnering with Business Leaders and Managers.We will count on you to:
  • Manage the full spectrum of HR generalist activities including onboarding, employee lifecycle management, HR administration, and ensuring compliance with Czech labor laws.
  • Provide day-to-day HR support to employees and managers, addressing queries related to policies, benefits, and HR processes.
  • Lead employee relations matters such as disciplinary procedures, conflict resolution, and terminations, acting as a trusted advisor to managers and employees.
  • Support and coordinate payroll processes by collaborating with external payroll providers to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintain and update HR records and systems to ensure data integrity and compliance.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of HR programs and initiatives that enhance employee engagement and organizational culture.
  • Advise and support people managers on performance management, salary reviews, and benefits administration.
  • Partner with business leaders to understand their needs and provide HR insights that support organizational objectives.
  • Use HR data and employee engagement metrics to identify trends and recommend improvements.
  • Collaborate with regional HR teams and Centers of Excellence (Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Employee Relations) to implement tailored HR programs and optimize HR processes within the Czech Republic.
What You Need to Have:
  • 5+ years of professional HR experience with a strong focus on HR generalist responsibilities, ideally within a multinational environment.
  • Fluency in Czech and a very good command of English, both written and spoken.
  • In-depth knowledge of Czech labor laws and local employment regulations.
  • Proven experience managing employee relations issues with professionalism and discretion.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence managers and drive change.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced matrix organization.
  • Background in organizational change management and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple teams and cultures.
