- Manage the full spectrum of HR generalist activities including onboarding, employee lifecycle management, HR administration, and ensuring compliance with Czech labor laws.
- Provide day-to-day HR support to employees and managers, addressing queries related to policies, benefits, and HR processes.
- Lead employee relations matters such as disciplinary procedures, conflict resolution, and terminations, acting as a trusted advisor to managers and employees.
- Support and coordinate payroll processes by collaborating with external payroll providers to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain and update HR records and systems to ensure data integrity and compliance.
- Assist in the development and delivery of HR programs and initiatives that enhance employee engagement and organizational culture.
- Advise and support people managers on performance management, salary reviews, and benefits administration.
- Partner with business leaders to understand their needs and provide HR insights that support organizational objectives.
- Use HR data and employee engagement metrics to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with regional HR teams and Centers of Excellence (Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Employee Relations) to implement tailored HR programs and optimize HR processes within the Czech Republic.
- 5+ years of professional HR experience with a strong focus on HR generalist responsibilities, ideally within a multinational environment.
- Fluency in Czech and a very good command of English, both written and spoken.
- In-depth knowledge of Czech labor laws and local employment regulations.
- Proven experience managing employee relations issues with professionalism and discretion.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence managers and drive change.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced matrix organization.
- Background in organizational change management and employee engagement initiatives.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple teams and cultures.
- Deep understanding of the Czech employment market and cultural nuances.
