You will work closely with experienced engineers who will mentor and support your growth.You will contribute to the development of Resideo's next generation Comfort/Water control product. You will be part of a group of highly committed professionals who provide expertise to ensure the success of engineering projects and programs.Use your software/firmware coding knowledge by working on exciting products serving customers globally. Refine and expand your engineering skills in a team-based culture by working with innovative products and technologies. Partner with various project teams to reach effective solutions to complex engineering problemsJOB ACTIVITIES

Perform embedded programming in C for HVAC system components (actuators, controllers, sensors, and communication interfaces).
Assist in creating and updating software specifications.
Support electronics designers and other team members in delivering optimal product solutions.
Participate in reviewing and running test plans for verifying device performance.
Learn systematic design methods, including functional diagrams and FMEA, with guidance from senior engineers.

YOU MUST HAVE

Knowledge of embedded software development tools and environments (from coursework, internships, or projects).
Experience coding in C (academic, hobby, or project experience is welcome).
Basic hardware knowledge, including reading schematics and understanding microcontrollers and communication buses.
Written and verbal English language skills at minimum B1 level (B2 and better preferred).

WE VALUE

Familiarity with standard communication protocols (RS232, I2C, SPI).
Exposure to MODBUS RTU or BACnet MS/TP is a plus.
Interest in working in cross-functional teams and learning from experienced colleagues.
Curiosity about hydronic valves, actuation, and HVAC systems.
