Job Category: Environmental EngineeringJob Description:The Senior Environmental Regulatory Engineer is responsible for ensuring that current and future products comply with all applicable national and international environmental and product regulations.In this role, you will identify regulatory requirements for different product types and develop effective compliance and testing strategies, using both internal and external testing capabilities. You will oversee environmental compliance across the entire product lifecycle, from development and manufacturing through to global distribution.You will also monitor emerging global environmental regulations and ensure the organisation remains compliant with evolving requirements. As part of the global Environmental Regulatory Certification function, you will act as a subject-matter expert, providing guidance on regulatory matters and interpreting product-related regulations to support effective compliance strategies.JOB DUTIES:Monitor and assess global environmental regulations, customer requirements, and internal standards, evaluating their impact on products and operations.Conduct regulatory applicability analyses and define sustainability and environmental compliance requirements.Lead cross-functional initiatives to meet environmental program requirements and provide guidance and training on compliance obligations.Develop and maintain Product Stewardship processes, procedures, and tools aligned with corporate standards.Initiate or review engineering change orders related to regulatory compliance.Manage regulatory documentation, agency reports, and certification submissions for applicable products.Prepare certification packages (technical files, forms, and letters) and coordinate with certification bodies.Ensure ongoing maintenance of product certifications and verify alignment between approved and manufactured product configurations.Provide Product Stewardship expertise to NPI teams, supporting the identification and management of environmental requirements throughout development.Advise on regulatory risks during product development and review design changes for compliance impact.Monitor and communicate updates to environmental and product regulations.Drive best practices and maintain effective compliance testing strategies, programs, and facilitiesYOU MUST HAVE:Ability to read and understand electrical schematics, diagrams, and mechanical drawingsExperience interpreting and applying regulatory standards, including but not limited to: UL, IEC, ANSI, NSF, CE, Drinking Water Directive, EU REACH, RoHS, PFASFluency in EnglishExcellent communication skillsWE VALUE:Proficient with MS Office, MS Project, Visio, and Adobe AcrobatStrong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyAbility to work flexible hours within a global organisationKnowledge of Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing methodologies is a plus.Highly self-motivated, goal-oriented, and efficientWHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU:Hybrid WorkingOpportunity to work within global team5 weeks of paid vacationOn-site canteen & home office meal vouchersPension plan or DIP contributionsDiscounted phone plans & company product discountsMultisport Card & cafeteria program#LI-AM3#LI-HYBRIDAbout Us:Resideo Technologies has announced its intention to spin off ADI Global Distribution and establish it as a separate, publicly traded company.
