Your Responsibilities:
  • Infrastructure Planning & Technical Design
  • Design scalable, reliable, and long-term sustainable x86 infrastructures.
  • Perform performance and capacity calculations and analysis.
  • Actively contribute to the standardization of x86 technologies.
  • Translate business and technical requirements into high-quality infrastructure designs.
  • Department Internal Projects Coordination
Coordinate key infrastructure initiatives, such as:
  • hardware renewals,
  • modernization of x86 environments (e.g., transition to HCI architectures),
  • lifecycle-driven improvements — architecture, performance, efficiency.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across European units to ensure smooth and transparent execution.
Technical Expertise & Collaboration:
  • Act as a technical expert in x86 platforms, VMware virtualization, and performance/capacity optimization.
  • Leverage your operational and design experience to enhance stability and architectural quality.
  • Work with global and regional IT teams on requirements assessments, feasibility evaluations, and solution design.
What You Bring:Soft Skills:
  • Proactive, independent, and solution-oriented working style.
  • Motivation to work in a multicultural, international environment.
  • Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken).
  • German or Italian language skills are a plus.
  • Willingness to occasionally travel within Europe.
Mandatory Technical Knowledge:
  • Deep expertise in x86 technologies, including:
  • enterprise server hardware (e.g., Dell, HPE),
  • virtualization and management tools: VMware Aria Suite, vCF, HCI, vSAN,
  • performance and capacity analysis methods (e.g., Aria Operations).
  • Proven experience in designing and operating large-scale x86 environments.
