Senior Accountant AtR CZ&SK

• Responsible for the preparation of all IFRS based Group reports and other finance documents
• Responsible for a company or a number of companies within country/countries
• Accounting operations and tasks i.e. journal entry
• Support Business Areas and Finance team providing professional advices regarding accounting and reporting
• Internal controls: establish proper level of controls over accounting, taxation and reporting processes, actively participate in policies and procedures implementation
• Process and Innovation: actively participate in process and systems improvements and development
• Strive for continuous improvement of efficiency of processes in responsible areas
• Work with internal and external auditors
• Assist local entities and Holdings in establishing local statutory reporting
• Control period end closing
• Reconciliations of balance sheet accounts
• Project management: actively participate and sometimes lead the internal accounting and reporting projects, including international ones
• Support Chief Accountant with miscellaneous operations and tasks

• Ideally, the candidate should have min. 5 years in accounting and finance in international companies
• Speak and write English at such a level to be able to communicate with your colleagues (onsite/abroad)
• Experience with the analysis of data in Excel, and knowledge of SAP
• Thoroughness is widely appreciated
• Ability to work under strict deadlines and ability/passion for bringing things to an end.
