- Conceive, design, analyze and develop cutting edge electric machine concepts.
- Contribute to the group's projects with key technical analytical skills such electromagnetic design or electric motors design.
- Learn Garrett engineering & NPI processes.
- Continuously develop and improve upon an in-depth understanding of electrical machines.
- Be responsible for the identification, evaluation and development of new motor designs, technology.
- Plan and lead the program that validates (or invalidates) the feasibility of the project concept, including the design, analysis and optimization, prototype procurement, testing and development of the concept.
- Develop Intellectual Property capturing these new technologies as unique Garrett Turbo products.
- Works with other teams and experts on definition of methods, best practices.
- Work with customers, both external and internal, establish solid roadmaps to transition the project to production engineering.
- Provide ad hoc support in your field of technical expertise to other team members or other peers.
- Bachelors/Master degree in electrical engineering.
- In depth knowledge of electrical machines, their design, driving techniques and manufacturing methods.
