So, if you're ready to seize the endless opportunities and leave your mark, come join us.MEET THE TEAMEFIT (EMEA Frameworks, Insights, Tools) is a Prague-based team dedicated to building and maintaining infrastructure and tools for automatic triage of failed tests on FlashArray and FlashBlade. We ensure that Pure Storage's large-scale automated test environments remain efficient, scalable, and intelligent.Every month, millions of jobs are executed across thousands of real and virtual test systems to validate our products. While only a small percentage fail, this still amounts to hundreds of thousands of failures that must be analyzed to identify root causes-ranging from infrastructure glitches and flaky tests to genuine product issues.This is where PTA (Post Test Analysis) plays a critical role. PTA is a distributed, modular system that analyzes failed jobs, interprets output and system status, and generates both human- and machine-readable reports. It groups related issues via signature matching (fingerprinting), helping engineering teams prioritize effectively while avoiding repetitive analysis. PTA is under active development, with ongoing enhancements including new analysis modules, AI-based insights, and more.We are looking for a Senior Python Engineer who combines strong technical expertise with leadership qualities to help drive our mission forward.IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL...
  • Utilize a data-driven approach to identify and resolve problems
  • Collaborate with team members from different teams and across time zones to design and develop high-quality CI/CD processes
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot solutions to avoid bottlenecks and keep the infrastructure robust and reliable
  • Build debugging tools to analyze test failures across a multi-machine hardware/software stack within a continuous integration automation framework
  • Provide continuous support to internal engineering teams to ensure the delivery of their code is easy and efficient
  • Coordinate with various engineering teams to ensure that important fixes are delivered in a timely manner
  • Make improvements to the integration tools and processes in order to make the lives of your fellow engineers easier
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in Python (or willingness and ability to learn quickly). Exposure to Go or Java is a plus
  • Experience working with relational databases (preferably PostgreSQL, Redis, or similar)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and build/test infrastructure (e.g. Jenkins)
  • Basic knowledge of version control systems (Git)
  • Understanding of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g. Docker)
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
Soft Skills
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables
  • Strong communication skills with cross-functional teams
  • Proactive mindset and team collaboration skills
AND YOU'LL SHINE IF YOU KNOW ABOUT THESE…
  • Experience with Apache Spark
  • Familiarity with Kafka or similar messaging systems
  • Proficiency in scripting languages
  • Above-average expertise in Git
  • Interest or experience in data science or machine learning
  • Strong working knowledge of Linux environments
