So, if you're ready to seize the endless opportunities and leave your mark, come join us.THE ROLEEverpure Cloud Azure Native is already live and generally available-we've shipped the first version of the service, and we're now focused on making it better every quarter: expanding use cases, entering new markets, and raising the bar on reliability and developer experience.Our Foundation team owns a Go-based control-plane service that orchestrates how customers consume enterprise-grade block storage natively in Azure. Around it, we work with a modern cloud stack including Temporal and other platform services for workflows, automation, and observability. This is a production cloud service, not an internal tool: the code you write directly shapes how customers deploy, scale, and operate storage in their Azure environments.This is a rare opportunity to work on a core storage service in a major public cloud, in a joint effort between Everpure and Microsoft. You'll design and evolve APIs and service behavior that sit in the critical path of real workloads, collaborating closely with engineers across both companies.We move fast without breaking customers: clear API contracts, long-lived interfaces, solid test automation, and CI/CD are part of the job, not side projects. If you want to own services end-to-end, solve real distributed systems problems in the public cloud, and see your work reflected directly in how Azure customers use storage, this is the place to do it.WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Own and evolve a production cloud service that powers Everpure Cloud Azure Native-taking features from idea to running in Azure for real customers.
  • Build new features and improvements into the control-plane service-from refining user flows and exposing system state to adjusting metering/billing, and other capabilities that make the service easier and more valuable to use.
  • Keep the service rock-solid in production by investing in test automation, CI/CD, metrics, and alerts so we can move fast without surprises.
  • Shape how we build by choosing and improving the tools and patterns we use (Go, Python, Azure, Kubernetes, Temporal, and more).
  • Continuously improve the system-simplifying code and APIs, paying down tech debt, and proposing changes that make the service safer and easier to operate.
  • Collaborate across teams and partners, working with engineers in other Pure Storage Cloud teams and with Microsoft engineers on joint design, integration, and incident follow-ups.
  • Work with smart, friendly peers who care about engineering quality, help each other grow, and expect the same from you.
WHAT YOU BRING
  • Solid software engineering experience (typically 3+ years) building and maintaining backend services or APIs in production.
  • Strong programming skills in at least one modern language (for example Go, Python, Java, C#, etc.) and a willingness to work with new technologies when it makes sense.
  • End-to-end ownership mindset - you and your team own what you build, from design and implementation through testing, deployment, monitoring, and iterative improvements in production.
  • Strong problem-solving skills - you're comfortable debugging issues that cross service boundaries, APIs, and cloud components.
  • Curiosity and a growth mindset - you like learning new domains, platforms, and tools and sharing that knowledge with others.
  • Collaborative way of working - you communicate clearly, give and receive feedback well, and enjoy working in a supportive, team-oriented environment.
  • Experience building SaaS or cloud services is a big plus - for example operating services on Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • Nice to have: familiarity with Kubernetes/containers, CI/CD automation.
