- Hands-on technical leadership of the software team focused on the instrument control software for chromatography and mass spectrometry instruments.
- Work in close coordination with Project Manager, Software Manager, Software Architect, Cyber and Information Security team to develop product on time with desired features and meeting quality and compliance requirements.
- Play active part in the scope definition (requirements, user stories), lead technical discussions between involved teams.
- Consult on regular basis with Software Architect and Software Manager to identify the optimal solution from project and organizational perspective, present options, provide recommendations and solicit feedback from stakeholders.
- Cooperate with Test Lead to identify the appropriate test strategy and to ensure product quality.
- Be responsible for the SW product lifecycle including liaison with VnV and Product Support organizations.
- Document all the work as appropriate
- Advanced experience with C#, at least basic knowledge of Python
- Proven professional experience with SW architecture and design of complex systems ranging from embedded to enterprise layer.
- Knowledge of network communication and peripherals control
- Degree in relevant technical field or equivalent professional experience
- Proven experience in SW development industry
- Willingness to work in international teams and collaborate with stakeholders in different time zones.
- Traveling to Germany may be occasionally required
