Our platform connects technology resellers and service providers to the best IT, Comms and Cloud products and services so they can create brilliant technology solutions for UK businesses.As Tech Lead - Integrations, you will lead a cross-functional team of developers and QA engineers focused on delivering performant, scalable, and maintainable integration solutions across Giacom products and external systems.You'll be responsible for embedding AI-assisted development practices into your team's engineering lifecycle, driving technical excellence, and ensuring delivery aligns with strategic goals.What you'll be doing:
  • Lead the design, development, and testing of integration solutions using .NET and Playwright as automation framework.
  • Champion the use of AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, OpenAI APIs) to accelerate delivery and improve consistency.
  • Drive adoption of AI-powered code generation, automated test creation, and documentation validation.
  • Manage a team of developers and QA engineers, providing career guidance, mentorship, and support; leveraging our HR Framework.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture, balancing delivery speed with engineering excellence
  • Promote a culture of experimentation and learning, especially around AI and automation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve development workflows, reduce manual effort, and increase reliability.
  • Track and report on engineering health metrics, including defect rates, delivery velocity, and code quality.
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong experience in .NET development and integration architecture.
  • Proven ability to lead technical teams and deliver complex solutions.
  • Hands-on experience or strong interest in AI/LLM integration, including prompt engineering and orchestration of APIs like OpenAI and Azure OpenAI.
  • Familiarity with code generation techniques such as Roslyn, T4 templates, or source generators.
  • Comfortable promoting and working within a Copilot-enhanced Visual Studio environment, embracing AI-assisted development practices.
