Functional Analyst (f/m/d)

Your responsibilities:

Work with stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business requirements.
Translate business needs into clear functional specifications, acceptance criteria, and user stories.
Collaborate with product owners, developers, and testers to ensure requirements are well-understood and aligned across teams.
Validate that delivered solutions meet functional and business objectives.
Create, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional, regression, and integration testing.
Perform manual testing
Identify, document, and track defects using tools such as Jira, and follow up with developers to ensure timely resolution.
Support UAT by preparing scenarios, coordinating with business users, and providing required documentation.
Ensure proper traceability from requirements to test coverage.

Your profile:

3+ years of combined experience in Quality Assurance and Functional Analyst roles.
Ability to create clear functional specifications, acceptance criteria, and test documentation.
Experience with test management and defect-tracking tools such as Jira, XRay, or similar.
SQL (Working Knowledge): Able to write basic to intermediate queries for data validation and backend checks.
API Testing: Experience using tools such as Postman or Swagger for testing interfaces and integrations.
JSON/XML: Ability to interpret and validate structured data for integrations and API responses.
Understanding of system interactions: Ability to read and interpret data flows, interface behaviours, and dependencies.
Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and QA testing methodologies.
Version Control Awareness: Basic understanding of Git (e.g., reviewing changes, understanding branches).
Experience in financial services or other regulated environments.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Effective communication skills, able to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum frameworks and collaborative team environments.
Proficiency in written and spoken English.
