On behalf of an American group owning iconic brands of consumer products, we are currently looking for a a Global Finance Process Manager to join their SSC based in Prague. We are looking for an experienced manager, expert in global financial processes and systems, ideally experienced within a consumer packaged goods environment. The responsibilities include project planning, execution, reporting, and managing stakeholder expectations.Strategy:
  • Identifies areas for standardization and process improvement.
  • Drives best practices based on business feedback.
  • Contributes to budget planning for special initiatives.
Program and Project Planning:
  • Collaborates with business units to define project architecture.
  • Develops milestone and activity-level plans.
  • Ensures clear measures of success.
Project Execution:
  • Manages cross-functional project teams.
  • Drives high-quality outputs with significant impact.
  • Addresses risks and interdependencies.
  • Manages stakeholder expectations.
Project/Portfolio Reporting:
  • Implements effective tracking and reporting mechanisms.
  • Monitors progress, ROI, risks, and integration.
  • Conducts analysis and provides recommendations to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
Key qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA/Master's preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience: Demonstrated progressive responsibility in project management or Finance/Accounting roles, preferably within a global Consumer Packaged Goods environment.
  • Experience leading process design and continuous improvement efforts across a global organization.
  • Significant experience working with Finance functions, including expertise in global processes and systems.
  • SAP Experience (S4/Hana preferred)
  • Project Management Skills: Proficiency in creating project charters and detailed project plans.
  • Proven success in driving program initiatives with transformational impact in large-scale organizations.
  • Six Sigma or LEAN: Strongly preferred.
  • Change Management experience as part of project management
  • Strong influencer, strategic and tactical thinker, decision-maker, project oriented, excellent communicator.
