- Achievement of business targets through the direct sales channel
- Focusing on growing and developing existing clients, together with generating new business by bringing Signify technology innovations and new business models to the market. Doing this by spectacular projects of street lighting, city architectural lighting, sport & arena lighting and many more.
- Secure Signify’s position as the preferred partner and top of mind choice for customers
- Play leading role in business pitches and hold responsibility for the effective on-boarding of new clients
- Act as the key interface between the customer and all relevant internal functions
- Create and drive deployment of the segment strategy
- Plan and effectively execute lead generation activities
- Orchestrate Strategic Alliances with external technology partners
- Preparation of complying contractual agreements
- Document partnership and business aspects with each customer, ensuring all activity is recorded accurately
- Provide reports and analysis as required
- Bachelor degree (ideally in Technology, Science, Engineering, Telecom or IT)
- Minimum 5 years experience in business development with valuable customer network in B2G domains (municipalities, public customers, Energy groups)
- Knowledge of public procurement law is an advantage
- Ability to understand customer needs and translate into compelling value propositions
- Excellent communicating, negotiating and presentation skills
- Ability to maintain creativity and professionalism in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
- Experience with developing architectures for Smart City projects is an advantage
- Understanding Internet of Things (IoT), big data, new technologies in telecoms and IT is an advantage
- Fluent English and Czech, Slovak could be a great advantage
