This role reports to the Head of Indirect Tax based in Amsterdam.In this position, you will be responsible for indirect tax compliance in various jurisdictions (CZ, DE, FR, ES, IT, HU, and UK), and you will be engaged in various initiatives aimed at enhancing and improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the indirect tax processes. Utilizing existing technology while also identifying and implementing new tax technology solutions when relevant.What you will doCompilation and filing of various indirect tax declarations in multiple jurisdictionsTake care of other regulatory reporting, such as the plastic packaging tax and the extended producer responsibilityEstablish and maintain a collaborative relationship with internal business stakeholdersTrack legislation changes and assess potential impact on the businessContribute to process and systems improvementsAct as a point of contact for local tax authorities and external indirect tax advisorsWhat you need to succeed✅ Must-have requirements:University degree in Finance3-5 years of demonstrated relevant experience in Indirect Taxes & Tax TechnologyKnowledge of ERP systems and of automated VAT Reporting SolutionsExperienced user of MS Office, especially MS ExcelStrong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasksFluency in English (written and spoken)Great communication skills, both in written and spoken formsTeam player with the ability to work independentlyProactive, structured, and solution-oriented mindset👑 Nice-to-have:Specialization in Taxes during university studiesExperience working with SAPKnowedge of the Polish languageExperience working with AvalaraInterested?➡️ Apply now - we look forward to hearing from you!
