About the RoleWant to build practical AI solutions that transform how people work? This is a unique opportunity to develop and deploy AI-powered tools, automation, and intelligent services that improve efficiency and decision-making across Alma Media.We’re looking for a hands-on AI Engineer who enjoys turning new technologies into practical solutions. You’ll work closely with business teams and developers to build AI-driven applications, automation workflows, and internal tools that integrate with Alma Media’s systems and data. This role focuses on delivering real AI solutions in production, from early prototypes to scalable implementations that teams can rely on in their daily work.Key ResponsibilitiesYou will work in close collaboration with the AI & Integration Architect, who defines the enterprise architecture, integration patterns, and governance model for AI environments. Together you ensure that Alma Media can both enable AI at scale and deliver practical AI solutions that create real impact.Applied AI Engineering

Design and deploy AI solutions that improve business processes and decision‑making
Build AI agents, assistants, copilots, and automation workflows integrated with existing systems
Use modern AI technologies such as LLMs, RAG, and intelligent automation
Identify opportunities where AI and automation boost productivity and efficiency
Collaborate with business teams to turn real needs into measurable AI solutions

Hands‑on Development & Solution Ownership

Take end‑to‑end technical ownership of AI solutions from development to monitoring
Build integrations between AI services, enterprise systems, APIs, and data sources
Create reusable components, tools, and patterns that support scalable AI adoption
Ensure solutions are reliable, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise architecture
Document implementations and best practices to support reuse and knowledge sharing

AI Adoption & Capability Building

Empower teams with reusable patterns, hands‑on guidance, and practical examples
Help teams understand how AI can enhance workflows and digital products
Experiment with emerging AI technologies and validate them through prototypes
Strengthen internal AI competence and practical engineering capabilities across Group IT

You will succeed in this role if you have:You are a strong match if you have solid hands‑on experience in software development and production‑grade applications, including AI‑powered solutions. You’re proficient in programming, skilled in problem‑solving, and comfortable integrating systems, APIs, and data sources in modern cloud environments. You design solutions that are maintainable, scalable, and ready for production. You collaborate naturally with both technical and business teams, stay curious about new technologies, and move quickly from idea to prototype and into production. You balance structured engineering with experimentation and thrive in a fast‑evolving tech landscape.You also have practical experience with modern AI technologies such as LLM APIs, vector databases, or AI orchestration frameworks, and you’ve built AI‑enabled applications like assistants, copilots, or intelligent automation solutions. You’re eager to experiment with emerging AI capabilities and turn them into real‑world use cases.
