An international product-focused company in the gaming industry is looking for a Senior .NET Engineer to join its backend development team. The client builds high-quality gaming products where technical excellence and player experience go hand in hand. Every system is designed to perform under real-world conditions, with a strong focus on scalability, reliability, and real-time interaction. From early concept to live production, the products are developed for real users and sustained growth.Required skills:
  • At least four years of commercial backend development experience, preferably in the gaming industry.
  • Strong proficiency in C# and hands-on experience with .NET and ASP.NET Core.
  • Solid understanding of RESTful API design, backend architecture, and database systems.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to optimize systems for performance and scalability.
  • Clear communication skills and experience working in cross-functional teams.
  • Interest in gaming products and a focus on delivering high-quality technical solutions.
  • Intermediate level of English for daily communication.
Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain server-side services and APIs that power gaming applications.
  • Improve backend performance and scalability to handle increasing traffic and evolving product requirements.
  • Ensure data consistency, reliability, and integrity across database systems.
  • Create clear and efficient RESTful APIs to enable smooth communication between frontend and backend.
  • Develop real-time features such as multiplayer logic, chat functionality, and game state synchronization.
  • Maintain a high level of security by protecting user data and preventing unauthorized access.
  • Integrate external services, including payment solutions and third-party APIs.
  • Write unit and integration tests to keep backend systems stable and reliable.
  • Maintain technical documentation for backend services, APIs, and internal processes.
  • Collaborate with team members using Git-based workflows and participate in code reviews.
  • Work closely with frontend developers, designers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders.
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve complex backend issues, including production incidents.
