- Manage and maintain ServiceNow Discovery schedules (horizontal and ACC) and MID server administration across VIG Group entities.
- Monitor discovery and integration processes, proactively identify issues, analyze root causes, and drive resolution in collaboration with local VIG entities.
- Investigate and resolve discovery-related incidents and defects – from credential and connectivity issues to probe and sensor failures.
- Monitor and analyze data quality in the VIG CMDB (CIs, attributes, and relationships), address discrepancies caused by discovery or integration issues.
- Organize meetings with CMDB Specialists from local VIG companies to consult on discovery and data quality issues and support their resolution.
- Provide expertise, training and consultations on discovery operations and related CMDB processes to local CMDB and IT specialists across the VIG Group.
- Collaborate with VIG CMDB stakeholders to identify requirements and development opportunities related to discovery and data collection.
- Contribute to CMDB development projects – define user stories, perform UAT testing, maintain documentation, and support user adoption of new features.
- Monitor the functionality of the CMDB solution and IT Configuration Management processes.
- Czech/Slovak – native speaker, English – working proficiency
- Very good knowledge of ServiceNow Discovery – horizontal Discovery, ACC (agent-based), MID servers, credentials, and discovery schedules
- Very good knowledge of IT infrastructure – networking, virtualization, containerization, OS, application SW, public cloud services (Azure, AWS, OCI) – essential for effective discovery troubleshooting
- Good knowledge of IT Configuration Management processes and/or ITIL practices
- Good knowledge of CMDB principles and ServiceNow platform
- Experience with log analysis and troubleshooting of data collection issues
- Basic knowledge of agile methodology or other methods of software development
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify data discrepancies and root causes, critical thinking
- Good time management and organizational skills, ability to prioritize well
- Ability to contribute to project delivery – supporting planning, coordinating tasks, and following through on milestones
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- This role may require occasional travel to foreign countries (Europe)
