Overview:IDC is seeking Data Scientist who will join our Data Science team based in Prague, Czech Republic. We are seeking a talented and motivated Data Scientist with a strong focus on Natural Language Processing (NLP), and Generative AI. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in data science, with a proven track record of developing and implementing NLP, AI, and generative models. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, build, and deploy advanced data-driven solutions.For more than five decades IDC and its businesses have been at the forefront of every major shift in the technology market, providing critical insights for tech suppliers and buyers. Our vision is to make the world a better place through technology. Responsibilities:

Develop and implement NLP models to extract insights from unstructured text data.
Design and build AI and generative AI algorithms to solve complex business problems.
Collaborate with data engineers and software developers to integrate models into production systems.
Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
Conduct research and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in NLP, AI, and generative AI.
Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through reports and presentations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science, data science, information technology, mathematics, or related fields.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in data science, with a focus on NLP, AI, and generative AI.
Proficiency in Python programming.
Experience with NLP libraries and frameworks (e.g., spaCy, NLTK, Transformers).
Experience with generative AI models (e.g., GPT, BERT, DALL-E).
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and techniques.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
