Offer DescriptionRequirements:

Completed university master´s degree in law; scholarly degree (CSc., Dr., Ph.D.);
Granted associate professorship or full professorship in business law is an advantage;
At least 7 years of practice in the area of business law
Teaching and research activities in business law;
Proficiency in one international language, proficiency in second international language is an advantage;
Non-existence of a work-load at another university exceeding 8 hours a week; alternatively, the termination of such work-load in the case of success in the hiring procedure;
The list of publications where 5 most significant scholarly publications will be highlighted including information on citation index; substantiated citation index and publications in international journals with impact factor is an advantage;
Active participation in Czech or international conferences;
Experience in drafting grant projects, obtaining grant project funding and investigating such projects is an advantage;
Membership in Czech and international organisations significant in the given field is an advantage.

Expected commencement of employment: October 2024Applicants are to submit:

An application for the position (in the form of a letter or a motivation letter);
Professional curriculum vitae;
Documents proving their completed university education and granted scholarly degrees (to be submitted only if the education was completed at a university other than Charles University and scholarly degrees were granted by a university other than Charles University);
An outline of their teaching experience and scholarly research;
A project of teaching subjects for which the Department of Business Law has been responsible (obligatory, elective and optional subjects) within the implemented study programmes, focusing on the master´s programme in Law and Jurisprudence (
