- Designing and implementing customized product solutions by translating customer requirements into clear engineering documentation that supports the Customized Products order process.
- Leveraging knowledge of existing products, materials, and applications to create solutions that meet customer expectations while remaining feasible to produce.
- Validating product functionality and manufacturability by collaborating with manufacturing engineers and suppliers to ensure solutions can be produced in plants or externally.
- Creating and maintaining engineering documentation and bills of materials (BOMs) to support accurate, timely order fulfillment.
- Collaborating cross-functionally with development, manufacturing, quote study, and supplier partners to align on feasible product adaptations and constraints.
- Applying engineering thinking to operational, logistical, and time-sensitive challenges to deliver pragmatic, workable solutions.
- Contributing to continuous improvement by advising on enhancements to customized product workflows, tools, systems, and design principles.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related engineering field
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience
- Experience in an assembly-driven and/or manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of 3D CAD software, with the ability to understand and work with technical drawings and product configurations
- Advanced English proficiency
- Experience with engineered products and exposure to manufacturing or assembly-driven environments
- Hands-on experience with CAD and product data tools (e.g., PTC Creo, Windchill) to create and maintain technical documentation
- Familiarity with SAP or similar systems supporting order management or operational workflows
- Ability to translate engineering designs into practical, producible solutions within industrial manufacturing settings
- Experience collaborating in cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with a focus on applying engineering thinking to time-sensitive or operational challenges
- Interest in continuous learning and applying new ideas to improve ways of working
