Key activities include i) drive day-to-day activities for potential M&A and partnership deals including coordination with internal and external stakeholders, financial modelling, preparation of presentations to senior executives and the board ii) contribute to successful integration and synergy realization of any acquired targets iii) help build and process pipeline to support inorganic growth agenda of the group.The M&A (Mergers & Acquisitions) Support role is critical to advancing Garrett's inorganic growth strategy. The incumbent will support the Global Head of M&A in evaluating, executing, and integrating mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships. This includes financial modeling, due diligence coordination, and cross-functional project management to ensure seamless deal execution and post-merger value realization.Key Job Areas of Responsibilities
  • Support with daily project activities, including coordination of functional and cross-functional internal teams and external advisors together with Global Head of M&A, drive progress across critical diligence items, ad-hoc financial analysis, drive DD calls and meetings.
  • Support due diligence processes by gathering and analyzing data, preparing summaries, and tracking open items.
  • Support with the preparation of presentations for project members, senior management and Board.
  • Conduct deal related analyses. Build and maintain detailed financial models to assess valuation, synergies, and deal impact.
  • Help maintain and prioritize the M&A pipeline, including market screening and target profiling.
  • Contribute to post-deal integration planning and synergy tracking and realization.
Position RequirementsEducation / Qualification
  • Master degree in Finance, business, economics, accounting, engineering or related field
Experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in Investment Banking (M&A Function)/Equity Research/Strategy Consulting/Corporate Finance/Corporate M&A
Key Skills and Knowledge
  • +5 years of Prior M&A experience (preferably investment banking, transaction advisory services or prior corporate M&A also relevant)
  • Experience in project management
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and navigate in a highly matrixed environment
